Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of experience (or a strong foundational knowledge for freshers) in CI/CD, cloud platforms, and automation. Candidates who have completed cloud-related courses (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or hands-on training will be preferred. You will work on building and managing infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployments, and supporting development teams with automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up, managing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for basic setup of VMs, networking, and storage.
- Automate deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and routine tasks using scripting or tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline deployment and release cycles.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build and environment-related issues.
- Follow DevOps best practices for scalability and reliability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Completion of any cloud-related training or hands-on cloud courses (AWS/ Azure/ GCP) is strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker (Kubernetes knowledge is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
Preferred skills:
- Hands-on experience in personal cloud projects or labs (e.g., deploying apps on AWS or Azure).
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Basic knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (ELK Stack, Grafana).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Understanding of cloud security concepts (IAM, VPC).
