Job Description
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, particularly in e‑commerce and web applications. The role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and ownership of testing strategies to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and QA strategies for both manual and automated testing within Agile projects.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to align QA efforts with project goals.
- Execute end‑to‑end testing strategies with a strong focus on system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, specifically for e‑commerce workflows.
- Build and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Jest, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Conduct API and integration testing using Postman and similar frameworks to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Monitor and continuously improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in QA for e‑commerce applications or similar domains.
- Strong experience in testing web portals and backend APIs.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Experience scripting tests using TypeScript.
- Strong hands‑on experience with API testing and integration workflows using Postman or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to design and execute test cases for React.js and Node.js applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated test workflows.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with technical and business teams.
